Joining Corticon in 2000, Mike founded the Client Services department, developing and managing the professional services, support, training, and documentation teams until Corticon’s acquisition by Progress Software in late 2011.

During his time at Corticon, Mike was directly involved in virtually all aspects of Corticon BRMS deployment with customers and partners, including design, scoping, architecture, training, implementation, mentoring, and support.

Prior to Corticon, Mike spent 5 years at Applied Materials in product and project management, and 5 years in the US Navy as a nuclear-qualified surface warfare officer and engineer officer.

Mike holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business.

Following UVa, Mike graduated from the US Navy’s Nuclear Power School.

Mike lives in Philomont, a rural hamlet at the northeastern edge of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.
